Dr. Darjan KARABASEVIC is an Associate Professor of Management and Informatics and a Vice dean for Scientific Research at the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance, University Business Academy in Novi Sad. He obtained his degrees at all the levels of studies (B.Sc. appl. in Economics, B.Sc. in Economics, Academic Specialization in the Management of Business Information Systems and PhD.in Management and Business) at the Faculty of Management in Zajecar, John Naisbitt University Belgrade. His current research is focused on the informatics, management and decision-making theory.


Dr. Darjan Karabasevic is co-author of a Additive Ratio Compromise ASsessment (ARCAS), PIvot Pairwise RElative Criteria Importance Assessment (PIPRECIA) methods, as well as several extensions of MULTIMOORA and SWARA methods.


Dr. Darjan Karabasevic is a member of Neutrosophic Science International Association (NSIA), Head of NSIA branch of Serbia and Co-President.

Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Darjan KARABASEVIC was born in 23.12.1985. He gratuated from the Faculty of Management in Zaječar, Megatrend University in 2009, majoring in finance, banking and stock management. In 2011 he enrolled postgraduate specialist academic studies of management of business information systems, and the same was completed in 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Management in Zajecar, John Naisbitt University in 2016 for his thesis entitled “Defining the criteria for the evaluation of candidates in the process of recruitment and selection of personnel by applying multiple-criteria decision making methods”.


From 2007 until 2018 he worked in the telecommunications company Vip mobile ltd, member of A1 telekom austria group on following positions: firstly as Shop Advisor (2007-2009), Shop Advisor Advance (2009-2010) and Shop Manager (2010-2018).


In 2020 at the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance, University Business Academy in Novi Sad, Dr. Darjan Karabasevic was elected as Associate Professor for the scientific field of general management and informatics. At the same faculty he is also and a Vice dean for Scientific Research.


Dr. Darjan Karabasevic is a member of editorial board of Neutrosophic Sets and Systems journal, International Review journal and BizInfo scientific journal. He is also a member of International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM).


Dr. Darjan Karabasevic is member of the scientific board of several scientific conferences: 4th and 5th International Scientific & Professional Conference “Innovation as an Initiator of the Development”, 5th International Scientific Conference “Knowledge Based Sustainable Development” ERAZ 2019, and 8th International Scientific Conference “Employment, Education and Entrepreneurship” (EEE 2019).


Dr. Darjan Karabasevic is author of the numerous scientific papers (over 90), of which over 20 are published in the journals with IF.
